Sorry, I am a bit late on this one. I blame my laziness, I was also waiting for the next Bakuman chapter, but it doesn’t seem to be out yet, oh well, some other time.

Ok, well I guess this is the second part of the weekly shonen thing. I still have Bakuman and Nurarihyon no Mago to read, but I guess they can wait. So, without further ado, here we go.

Since I am too lazy to actually do these posts one by one, I will be doing them in random groups. The makeup of the groups will depend on the manga’s I have read by that time. Well this is my first anime related post. In theory I should go and do the previous 6 episodes, but I am too lazy. Hopefully I will continue doing episodic reviews on Ookami-san and I might throw in other decent (not brilliant, just decent) anime into the mix as well.

Nurarihyon no Mago Chapters 117-118

Burn Baby Burn!

Wow, two great chapters. I am still confused about Nuramago’s release schedule. It seems to be a bit random compared to other shonen’s, but I guess this is a scanlator thing, not that I mind, reading these two chapters back to back was a great experience.

Naruto- Putting it in Perspective

Last Thursday, I read Naruto Chapter 504. This post isn’t really about the chapter, but about putting the chapter in perspective. Let’s think about it for a second. Chapter 504 was the conclusion to the Kyubi’s flashback arc. Most people probably already realized this, but this chapter… we were waiting for this chapter since the beginning of the manga.  In other words, some people have been waiting for this chapter for 11 years. Think about that for a second, 11 freaking years! So much as changed in that time, so many manga’s have been released, heck I have cousins who weren’t born 11 years ago. So, this little post is just about looking back, and well bringing back some memories.

I bet Kishi never thought he would be as famous as he is today.

The Finishing Blow

I was reading Yankee-kun to Megane-chan, and well, while in the midst of chapter 102, it died. Just like that a stake was driven through my heart, and it well hurt. I could QQ at the publishing companies, but that’s for some other time, for now, I shall feel remorse.

The pain, it hurts.
