I don’t have much to say this week.
Sorry I have been somewhat inactive for the past bit. School restarted and I got busy. To be honest, I should be working on other stuff right now, but oh well!
It should be quite apparent by now, but I am a sucker for fantasy romances. A pretty princess, a bishie bodyguard, a couple of tragic events and you are all set to make me happy!
Akatsuki no Yona is but another entry in the “princess forced to run away with her bodyguard’ genre, but boy is it a good one.
Upon airing, Hataraku Maou-sama! immediately captured everyone’s interest. It did an excellent job of contrasting a supposedly evil OverLord and his new part time job routine. For the first three episodes, the show was funny and quite endearing in its own way.
Unfortunately, there was only so far it could go whilst ignoring or making light jokes at the big fat elephant in the room.
Why the hell is the Demon Overlord so nice?
I am a bit late with this post. Sorry about that. Oh and I published a post on Maou-Sama, but WordPress ate it….I am not happy about that. Expect it back up soon-ish.
I know that with Spring well under the way, I really should be talking about currently airing anime, but I really wanted to have at least one post on what I consider to be Winter 13′s most under appreciated anime.
Warning: Like any respectable fanboyistic post on this blog, this post to is 50% picture spam, 40% incoherent text and 30% non-existent math.
There is no Naruto this week. That is kind of unfortunate because last week had quite the cliffhanger.
The JoJo finale, which aired a week or two ago, showcased the most excellent demise of Cars.
The defeat was silly, over the top, totally crazy and exactly what I’d expect from JoJo.
I mean, Cars gets flung into space courtesy of a volcanic eruption. How silly, crazy and awesome is that?
But, I would argue that there was more to this death than what might be immediately apparent.
This might seem a bit out of place, but I will take this chance to offer my condolences to the victims of the Boston marathon tragedy. If you live there, I hope you are safe and sound.
Sorry this post is very late. I have been busy battling games, laziness and communists.
I watched Haganai 12 a few weeks back and I am happy to report that it was a lot better than what I was expecting.
Highway was right, this episode was not what I was expecting.
I am so sorry I am late with this post.
I spent most of my spare time playing Bioshock Infinite and Ni No Kuni and the rest of it being lazy because I was tired.
So, well, here we go.
