The King’s Avatar is a guilty gamer pleasure

I usually shy away from using the phrase “guilty pleasure” these days because well if you like an anime, you like an anime. No need to feel guilty over it.

Some anime though like King’s Avatar don’t exactly make me feel guilty, but almost childishly giddy, like I am watching something only an 11 year old should enjoy, yet absolutely enjoying it regardless.

Mind you this is different from actual children’s anime, this is more of a “I am supposed to be too mature to enjoy stuff like this” and yet like a giddy fool I lap it up.

Here I am choosing to colloquially call it a guilty pleasure, but really it is just a normal silly pleasure.
