Spring 16 Initial thoughts Part 1: Bus Ride, Pompadour Ride, Space Ride, Ace Ride & EndRIDE

The first episode might be too little, too early to judge airing anime, but I’ll do so anyway.
12 Days of Anime #5: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Stardust Crusaders Pt.2
Posted by Reiseng in 12 Days of Anime, Anime, Jojo on December 28, 2015
So, Stardust Crusaders Part 2 aired this year and I loved it. If you are curious, I feel like my thoughts on Part 1 are still mostly applicable here, with the addendum: Part 2 was much more consistent.
I could probably spend a long time just talking about nearly every fight in the show, but I will try to keep it short. Note: All of these 12 Day posts implicitly have spoilers, but I am making special note here in case you are a special person who still hasn’t been spoiled on Dio’s powers. If you are, don’t read this post. Go watch the damn anime.
12 Days of Anime #3: JoJo Stardust Crusaders
Posted by Reiseng in 12 Days of Anime, Anime, Jojo on December 23, 2014
This blog has had a 12 Day post on JoJo twice now and we aren’t going to stop the trend this year (or likely next year since the second half of Stardust Crusaders is airing then).
Since I feel like I said enough about SC in my end of season thoughts, I am only going to list two moments here.
End of Season Thoughts: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders Pt.1

Hello,
I know JoJo will be coming back next January, but I figured I might as well say some things that I want to say about it right now and judge the second part of Stardust Crusaders on its own.
12 Days of Anime #1: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure

Hello everyone.
It is that time of year again. If you don’t know what the 12 Days thing is, then go read Scamp’s call to arms. Basically, it is just an excuse to make 12 posts.
I have done this 12 Day thing twice before and I have sort of built my own set of guidelines for it.
My posts are not really in any meaningful order. There is a loose chronological order (by anime air date) but that’s it. I don’t necessarily like my #1 anime more than my #12 nor my #12 more than my #1.
More importantly, instead of focusing on 12 or so memorable moments like most people, I prefer to focus on memorable anime. Each post then becomes a simple collection of memorable moments in that anime.
I do this primarily because I don’t really blog much anime throughout the year. These posts are sort of my lost shot at saying something good about anime I really liked.
All that said, I do break my own guidelines quite often but we will get to that when the time comes. For now, let us recall Winter’s hot blooded blockbuster, JOJO!
I already made a 12 Days post on Jojo (as well as several other Jojo posts) but because a good chunk of the anime (not to mention the better chunk) aired in 2013, I was unable to cover some of its best moments.
I do apologize though. I haven’t rewatched JoJo since it finished airing early this year so I have forgotten many of the memorable moments.
Beauty in Cars’ Demise.
Posted by Reiseng in Anime, Jojo, Stuff I say on April 18, 2013
The JoJo finale, which aired a week or two ago, showcased the most excellent demise of Cars.
The defeat was silly, over the top, totally crazy and exactly what I’d expect from JoJo.
I mean, Cars gets flung into space courtesy of a volcanic eruption. How silly, crazy and awesome is that?
But, I would argue that there was more to this death than what might be immediately apparent.
The use of Brains in JoJo 17.
JoJo episode 17 was a great episode. It took the classic “battle of brains” and showcased it in a spectacular, engaging manner.
Unlike his grandfather, Joseph relies on wit and quick thinking not ripple strength or iron will to win his battles. Throughout Battle Tendency, Joseph has used his wit to gain an upper hand on his foes and knock them down.
In episode 17, he attempted to use his wit once more, but what he (and the viewer) failed to suspect is that his enemy would do the same.
12 Days of Anime #12: JoJo

JoJo’s bizarre adventure is incredible.
Normally when a manga is adapted, the original manga fans all complain about how the adaption is not faithful or it sucks. Maybe it is because none of the anime only watchers complained, but I have not seen any complaints about JoJo as an anime. Yeah, there are some people that don’t like JoJo (like my brother–GASP), but they are few and far in between and more importantly, everyone seems to have at least some token of respect for this anime.
That is how good this anime is.
Some notes on Jojo episode 9
Hello,
Jojo’s episode 9 was a good episode. Nothing in the episode was particularly shocking or grabbing but I want to quickly talk about two little things.
