An aniblogger of some sort.
So you may not remember but once upon a time, I used to do these 12 Day posts at the end of every year talking about the anime moments I enjoyed that year. Back in 2015, I failed. I wrote 5 posts then utterly failed to write anymore. I haven’t written any more since then.
So, this post is a last ditch attempt at closing that section of 2015 posts.
I haven’t bothered writing these out separately or formatting them or writing them well because I am lazy and quiet frankly just want these out. Note: A lot of this was written like in 2016 or 2017 I think.
I say mechanic, but The Magic in this Other World is Too Far Behind is a Light Novel, not a game, so I am referring to a part of the setting that I just find bizarre, also offensive but just mostly bizarre in a series I otherwise like a lot.
Minor spoilers follow I suppose.

There are so many good anime this season!!
I love anime every season, but this season feels even better than usual. Oh and I still haven’t checked out everything, but here are thoughts on a good few!
Quick Summary thread
Hello, here’s a quick post.
I am too lazy to type up a proper season preview so I am just going to scroll down the anime chart and note the few that immediately stand out and I want to check out. I will probably watch more than I list here depending on what twitter brags about but hey.

Hello, here’s a quick post to make my once a month quota!
Consider giving Unwanted Undead, a Light Novel by Okano Yuu, a shot. It is licensed and you can buy/preview it on J-Novel Club if you like (note: they aren’t sponsoring me or anything I am just linking em….).

I am an unabashed fan of isekai stories (protagonists being transported to a fantasy world), but I’m too lazy to make a large recommendation post so I am gonna talk about a sub-genre I like a lot. Namely stories where the main character finds themselves in the game world of a game they enjoy but instead of being a protagonist they are the original story’s antagonist.

I need a post for June and am lazy so all I’ll say is watch the new Precure!
I have only seen a few episodes but it is exceptionally amazing and awesome. Way better than even the acreencaps your friends keep posting.
Hello! The season is well underway and I have seen very few anime, but I figured the ones I’ve seen I should talk about!
(I started this post some time in April but oops)

Shortly after Marvel’s Black Panther was released, a discourse erupted in my internet bubble with many critics calling the movie ‘too centrist’. What they meant by that was the villain wanted to overthrow systems of oppression and the hero stopped him because said villain’s methods was wrong. There was a fair bit of discussion on it and I won’t further open it up or anything (you can read this post and this one if you want the gist of the interpretations).
Black Panther isn’t unique though. A large amount of fiction, heck fiction for a long time, has villains who, due to the cruelty their group was treated with, grew up into monsters and I am generally not fond of this.
So I asked my twitter friends for their favorite romance/shipping anime and I got a surprising number of suggestions. I figured I’d catalog them here and with some thoughts of my own if I had any.
